AMANDA BRENNER

High School Librarian

After growing up in the Dayton area, Amanda made Bellbrook her home in 2010. Today, she is a proud member of the community, raising a 2025 high school graduate and a current 7th grader in the district. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University and a Masters of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.

Amanda’s lifelong love for books took on a new purpose during trips to the Winters Library for local storytimes with her young daughter. It was in those moments that she realized she could pair her passion for literacy with her professional life. Librarianship is a second career path for her. Prior to her role at BHS, she served as a public librarian at the Winters Library branch of the Greene County Public Library, where she specialized in teen services.

Amanda's main priority is building a vibrant school community hub where every student feels welcome, whether they are dropping in to get help, collaborate on a project, socialize with friends, or discover their next read. She is deeply passionate about books and loves getting students and staff excited about reading. She has established both student and staff book clubs at BHS.
